Ennis National Girls win Munster Tennis Final
On Friday last the Ennis National School girls tennis team travelled to Bishopstown Co. Cork, to take on Our Lady of Lourdes, Ballinlough, Co.Cork in the Munster Schools Final. The team consisted of Chris Kearney (captain), Niamh O'Shea, Karen MacNamara and Shauna Kearney.The Ennis girls won it easily on a 4-0 scoreline. This is the 1st time Ennis National has got to a final in 15 years. Well done girls and coach DannyComerford.

Sat 7th July 2012 is Ireland's National Tennis Day supported by BNP Paribas. Open Days and events will take place in tennis clubs all over the island of Ireland. We will be taking part. Details to follow. Please encourage friends to come on the day.

Badminton Ireland Award's Night Photos

Reminder that your membership renewal is due on June 1 2012 and renewal forms are available at the clubhouse and on the clubs website ennistennis.com.

It is important to note that this year you are asked to return your key together with your Membership Renewal Form. Please put both in an envelope marked for the attention of Ann Twomey, Membership Secretary.The key will be re-cut and sent back to you with your Membership Card. The process will take a few days during which time we ask for members patience.

Ennis wins the Badminton Ireland Club of the Year Award. Moya Ryan wins the Junior Player of the Year Award for Munster.
Ennis Lawn Tennis and Badminton Club won the Badminton Ireland 2012 Club of the Year Award at the Awards Ceremony held at the Dublin Hilton Hotel on Sat 19th May. Moya Ryan won the Junior Player of the Year Award for Munster. President of the club Tom Eade accepted the historic prize in front of a huge audience that included representatives from clubs all over the island, and Chloe Magee who will represent Ireland at the upcoming Olympic Games.

Badminton Ireland Club of the Year Award
Ennis Lawn Tennis and Badminton Club has been shortlisted for this year's Club of the Year Award. The award ceremony will be held on Sat.19th May in the Hilton Hotel Dublin Airport at 7pm. Tickets are available and cost €15. Contact gbrowne.ennis@eircom.net for details. The club won the Regional Club of the Year Award in 2008/09 and 2009/10.
